Locating An Old Credential

Monique Staats Updated by Monique Staats

Where's my credential download for a program I completed several years ago?

Most eCornell students who completed a program after March 2010 are able to retrieve a download from their Student Portal.

If you completed a program prior to March 2010, please contact Student Support at ec_helpdesk@cornell.edu to help locate your archived record.

Include the following information in your request: the name on your credential (or your name as it was registered while you were enrolled), your email/phone number at registration, the name of the program you completed, and the completion date (Month/Year) to help process your request quickly.

Please note: while we try our best to maintain archived records, we cannot guarantee that we can locate/retrieve/reissue your credential or transcript.

How can I print my credential?
If you completed your program after March 2010, visit this article for help printing your credential.
My name changed since I earned my credential. Can I change it?
Per institutional policy, once a credential has been issued, we cannot change the name under any circumstances in order to preserve the validity of your credential. If your name has changed since your credential was issued, please contact Student Support and we can make a note on your account should you ever need us to verify your education externally.
