Accessing On-Demand Lessons

How do I log in and start my On-Demand lessons?

If you are a current Cornell University staff or student, please visit this article for information.

eCornell On-Demand students will log in here or by typing https://ondemand.ecornell.com into the search bar.

  1. Use the username and password set up for you during registration.
  2. Once you log in, you are brought to the On-Demand Lesson Library, where you can browse and access the available lessons. Below is an example of an On-Demand library dashboard, but yours may vary depending on your assigned learning paths.
  3. You may browse through the various lesson offerings by scrolling, or you may search for lessons by topic, author, duration, or completion status using the left-hand search bar.
    1. Lessons you have started or opened will appear with a partial green line. Lessons you've completed will have a completely filled green line.
  4. Click the image of the desired lesson until the Start prompt appears. Then click again to be taken into the lesson. A brief lesson description will appear below, as well as an estimate of how long it may take to complete the course.
Note: If you happen to return to the Lesson Library immediately after entering the lesson for the first time, know that there is a 5-minute delay for it to show as 'started' on the dashboard.
  1. Once you click Start, you are taken to the Course Dashboard:
  2. You're in! Navigate through the lesson sequentially as outlined in the left-hand navigation.
    1. If you study out of order, you may get a message that you are locked from the content.
  3. Once you complete your lesson's Final Assessment, this will be noted on your student transcript. You must complete the assessment to receive credit. If you go through the entire course and exit prior to completing the assessment, your record will show the lesson as in-progress until you go back and complete the assessment.
  4. To access your student transcript, go back to your On-Demand Lesson LIbrary(ondemand.ecornell.com). Click your name at top right, and then Transcript.
  1. Your transcript will load in a new tab. Any other eCornell training will also show on the same record. To differentiate your On-Demand Lessons from other training, look in the Course No. column for items with the OD appended.
