Mac Users - Converting a Pages File to Another Format for Submission

My course facilitator cannot open my course project in the .pages format that I submitted. What can I do?

  • Locate and open your pages file.
  • From the Pages dropdown, click File > Export To... Word.
  • From the pop-up window, click Next.

  • Modify the file name (remove .docxpages) so that it is named .docx, then click Export.

  • Return to the course; locate the assignment submission page (Course Shortcuts > Grades, and click to select the appropriate assignment by name).
  • Click the Re-submit Assignment button, then use the Choose File button to navigate to the newly exported Word document. Add a comment if you wish.
  • Click Submit Assignment.
