Tuition And Tax Credits

Do I qualify for Tuition and Tax credits?

United States students:

At this time, eCornell does not issue 1098-T forms for our professional credentialing programs, as eCornell courses do not meet the IRS’s definition of an eligible educational institution. However, feel free to provide our Tax ID to your accountant to see if you are able to report your eCornell expense for tax purposes.

Additional information:

EIN / Federal Tax ID is 15-0532082

We do not have a school code.

Canadian students:

eCornell may be able to fill out Canadian tax T-forms. Please contact our Accounting Department at ec_accounting@cornell.edu to submit your request.

We believe that some individuals have been claiming their program investment within the professional development category for tax claims. Knowing this information, we advise you to speak with a financial advisor to confirm the best approach.

For all other students, please check with your local tax authority.
