Alternatives to Microsoft Office to Complete Coursework

Am I required to have access to Word and Excel?

While having access to Microsoft Office is recommended for our programs, it is not an absolute requirement.

An effective alternative that numerous students opt for involves utilizing Google Docs and Google Sheets in lieu of Word and Excel. Through the Google Suite, you can seamlessly upload course documents and make necessary edits, with the option to submit them as PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel upon completion.

Additionally, you can explore open-source alternatives like OpenOffice, which can be easily located through a quick online search.

It's worth noting that if you are using iWork (Pages, Keynote, or Numbers), the documents will need to be converted into formats compatible with PC, such as PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel.
